STATIC PAGES
DYNAMIC PAGES
FLASH BASED PAGES
STATIC PAGES : Usually the website is made up of Static pages where the text and images are still. These types of websites are suited better wherever we may need to simply 'inform' or display our services to the users.
The plus point for using static pages are immense i.e. it takes least time to upload and download a page, users can easily edit web pages using various HTML editors like MS-Front Page etc. and easy maintenance even by amateurs. It takes little space to host static pages.
The best part is- it is least expensive as compared with designing of other types of pages.
The only negative point about STATIC PAGES is that the website might appear to be non-interactive, simple and may be, boring! Therefore, a professional designer would use high imagination and intelligent tools to give amazing looks to the pages.
DYNAMIC PAGES : The dynamic pages contain a mixture of designs, styles and DHTML coding for making the website more interactive. The site visitors can also fill in the details for login, feedback and choose among various options using radio buttons, check boxes, drop down menus and other options.
The dynamic pages also include Audio & video files and usage of specialized and customized software. All the Feedback Forms, E-mailers, survey forms, Blogs and chatting box etc. are created dynamically only.
Using dynamic pages, the Administrator can get direct response from the users in his database which makes his job easier. Mostly, commercial websites opt for dynamic pages for two way interaction.
FLASH BASED PAGES : These are used for making creative and artistic pages including animations, sounds and special effects. Any web page that looks like a movie clip is created using special effects and no prize for guessing, gives soothing effects to overall website.
The tastefully created flash based pages including Introductions, Presentations, E-mailers and E-catalogues give a lasting impression as compared to Static Pages. The only downside about Flash pages is that it usually takes a little time and patience to download and view. An impressive flash based presentation can create a feeling of watching a live performance of images, words and sounds!
The Flash based pages are any artists' best tools if created using imagination and patience. The message conveyed by using Flash based pages is immense and instantaneous. No doubt, nowadays, most websites and presentations are created using Flash effects.
